Second Generation Pediatric Dentist
A Coeur d’Alene native, Dr. John Ukich is a second-generation pediatric dentist. His dad started Pediatric Dental Center of North Idaho and it was the first pediatric dental practice in the area. Dr. John spent his childhood seeing the impact his dad had on so many children’s lives. He wanted to continue that legacy and serve the families in the community with the same personal specialized care.
Education
Dr. John graduated from Wheaton College with his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biblical Studies. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors. Continuing his training, he completed a two-year pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of WI. He returned to his hometown after school and joined his father at the Pediatric Dental Center of North Idaho.

HOME LIFE
Dr. John loves spending time and making memories with his beautiful wife and their twin boys. He volunteers with many local Christian and dental organizations. With a love for athletics and the outdoors, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snow skiing, water skiing, golfing, and tennis.

All of the gentle kindness and patience at this office is unmatched. Our daughter has been going here since her first tooth and is now in braces. She will stay here until she is kicked out.
